Wilderness Jetboat Adventure

A relaxed, 60-minute motorcoach ride meanders through the soaring mountains and lush valley of the Exchamsiks River. Arrive at the mouth of this powerful waterway set within the Exchamsiks River Provincial Park, an important conservation and recreation area in British Columbia, and participate in an orientation from your naturalist guide. Then, climb aboard a jetboat for a thrilling 40-minute voyage along the riverbank in search of the abundant wildlife and birdlife. Back on terra firma, set off on an escorted 15-minute hike through an old-growth forest, walking under a canopy of centuries-old cedars and spruce trees that tower more than 200 feet. After working up an appetite, tuck into a delicious lunch of fresh wild salmon cooked over a campfire, accompanied by pasta salad, potato salad, and dessert all served beneath 4,000-foot vertical cliffs. Take in the spectacular views while savoring both the food and the atmosphere. Relax on the lovely scenic return drive to port.
