Trip Duration

4.5 Hours

Prepare yourself for a marine wildlife excursion like you have never seen before. During the months of June to September, the Pacific Humpback Whales migrate in the hundreds from their mating grounds of Hawaii to the feeding grounds of the Pacific Northwest. This area known as Chatham Sound is renowned for being one of the most abundant areas in the North Coast for Humpback Whales. Aboard our modern and comfortable catamaran vessel, you will be guided through these ancient waters by a crew of local and professional guides who will share their knowledge about the history and wildlife that you will encounter. Keep your eyes and ears open for the soaring American Bald Eagles as they swoop past our vessel. This area is also known for large pods of feeding Orcas / Killer Whales, Sea Lions and Porpoises. Coastal birds like Murres, Guillemots, Cormorants, Rhinoceros Auklets and Great Blue Herons make these rich waters and coastline their permanent home. Our state of the art vessel is equipped with washrooms, snack bar, two glass-enclosed indoor seating cabins and 4 outdoor viewing decks. This memorable discovery excursion is a photographer's paradise for wildlife and scenery, so don't forget your camera and binoculars.
